The car has the weld-in rollcage going to the top of the front suspension, has well has other 9 points (11 in total),

and the substitute of bar you talk about is behind the fire shield under the scuttle.

I think that it corners ok for a corsa...

in that note, here is a picture of the Track début back in the day:

Pic shows only outside of the car here :) . Do you have pictures from inside?

It's better if the bar is placed on the front suspension points, as also on the back, connected to the roll cage. When you corner most force comes on the front suspension points.

( Blue one you have, green should be added, with reinforcement, yellow )

( green linked to blue I also have but not like you draw... and yellow is reinforced )

Only thing I know for sure is from my old Corsa experience, which had that bar you talk, and this one now without the bar but full welded with rollcage. No comparison possible... I only wished the old corsa handled 25% like this one now.

Yes, I have some pictures of the after painted...

I must point out about the rollcage that it is FIA approved and build specific for Corsa B rally cars by British company Safety Devices.

But, maybe you are right... just fitting one and trying it can say for sure if is needed or not in this case.

I cannot see it clear from the picture how you made the replacement for the green line actually:) . But the rest :thumbup , nice work.

Red line replaces the side green lines...

:thumbup

Okay, got it. But still would prefer the " bridge ". As when cornering, both coil points, tend to come inside ( exaggerated )

Keep up the good work king:

Look who's taking.... i know a guy named BBG_gendt who used 1mm sheet metal for floar boards without anny strengthening or ridges, then crapped some molded lava on it what he called a weld. So don't act if u are the stiffnes guru... Chassis is perfect!

Annyway back to the Corsa ! Like your project very much, u got some nice hardware in it!
